DPhil Student

Yuanyuan began her DPhil in Population Health at the Nuffield Department of Population Health and Reuben College in October 2024. Her research mainly focuses on proteomics and cardiometabolic diseases, using data from both the China Kadoorie Biobank and the UK Biobank. She is supervised by Dr. Pang Yao, Dr. Andri Iona, and Professor Zhengming Chen. 

Prior to joining the department, Yuanyuan earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Medicine and Psychology from Peking University, followed by a Master's in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, also from Peking University. Her previous research involved wearable devices in the China Kadoorie Biobank, early adulthood adiposity, and cardiometabolic diseases.
