Maryam Rahmati

Medical Statistician

I am a medical statistician with a strong interest in longitudinal data analysis. Since July 2023, I have been working with the China Kadoorie Biobank (CKB), where my research primarily focuses on exploring the associations between risk factors and proteomics.

I hold a PhD in biostatistics from Tehran University, Iran, where my dissertation centred on Bayesian modelling of zero-inflated recurrent events. Before joining the CKB group, I worked as a medical statistician at the Reproductive Endocrinology Research Center, investigating the relationships between reproductive factors and non-communicable diseases as part of the Tehran Lipid and Glucose Study.
